When Joshua became the leader of God’s chosen people, he was intimidated. What big shoes he had to fill, now that Moses was no longer with him. God wanted Joshua to know that He Himself was all Joshua needed. God promised Joshua, “Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you.”
In response, God just had one command for Joshua. Out of all that God could have told Joshua to do, He told Joshua, “Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you.” That’s it. It’s not complicated. Be courageous and obey.
When you put this on, pray to have the same level of courage that Joshua had. And, if God is your Lord, the same God Who led His people through the wilderness will surely lead you through your wilderness today.
